Clinical and Digital Photography

Presented as a hands-on one day course, this is your opportunity to
learn about how digital photography can assist you and your staff in
practice.
Covering the theory behind the camera, lens and flash, this course is
designed for both you and your assistant as a team. Learn how to take
truly stunning clinical photographs, then how to store them digitally
and present them to patients almost instantly.
Part of the teaching team will include a professional member of the
photographic trade who will explain the latest innovations in the field.

- Basic equipment requirements
- Shooting on Digital Media
- Recording and displaying your images
- Clinical techniques
- Laboratory photos and communication with technicians
- Photography through a microscope
- Maintenance of the equipment
About the presenter
Dr Jim Ironside graduated B.D.S University of Adelaide
in May 1978, received his M.D.S. in Prosthodontics 1989 and received his
PhD in Dental Ceramics/Fracture Mechanics in 2001. He has conducted many
courses relating to the use of Ceramics, Composite Resins and Clinical
Photography, and lectured at both the University of Sydney and the
University of Adelaide as well as speaking at numerous international
events.
