Trip Across The Ditch
Presented by Assoc Prof Peter Cathro, Dr Stephen Harlamb and Dr
Erin Mahoney (NZ)
Why wait until winter to visit the beautiful city of Christchurch?
We’re not! This year’s conference in April is held in
conjunction with the Super 14 game in the lead up to the RWC 2011. Put
on your ’tahs jersey and help cheer on the Waratahs when they
clash with the Crusaders.
The NSW Waratahs take on seven-time Super rugby champions the
Crusaders at the newly developed AMI Stadium in Christchurch on
Saturday, April 10, kick-off 7.35pm. The Waratahs will be looking for
revenge after narrowly losing to the Crusaders 13-17 in Sydney last
season.
Look out for Wallabies stars Phil Waugh, Drew Mitchell and Berrick
Barnes playing for the Waratahs against All Black stars Ritchie McCaw,
Brad Thorn and Dan Carter for the Crusaders. The ‘Tahs will be the
first Aussie team to play at AMI Stadium since the opening of the new
Deans Stand, which is named after the family of current Wallabies coach
Robbie Deans.
