This course is an update and review of periodontal scaling including calculus detection explorers and gracey curettes, and utilising perio design ultrasonic tips to achieve optimal clinical results. The course will be a hands on experience and give you practical techniques to use in your practice.

  • Ergonomic positioning
  • Standard, After five, Mini Five and Micromini gracey curettes
  • 7/8 and 9/10 graceys
  • 15/16 and 17/18 graceys

About the presenter

Robyn Watson has been involved in dental hygiene practice and education for many years in the US, New Zealand and Australia. She holds registration in New Zealand and California and has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Otago and the Auckland University of Technology.

Robyn is currently a Professional Educational Consultant for Hu-Friedy Mfg Co. and as such she lectures internationally.  She has been Chairman of the Education Committee of the International Federation of Dental Hygiene, and conducts seminars for educational institutions and Continuing Education in Australia and New Zealand.
