CTC Training roomTwenty custom-designed dental workstations are available for hands-on courses. Equipped with micro-motor handpieces, air and water, operating light and in-built Frasaco manikin, the workstation is ideal for restorative and surgical training. The Training Room features an audio and video link to the Master Surgery, allowing participants to view live demonstrations. The AMX-controlled lectern allows presenters to operate a range of presentation tools that includes a data projector, visualiser, operating microscope and DVD player, as well as the control of sound and lighting. The Training Room is also suitable for lectures and demonstrations for groups of up to 20 participants. Disposable infection control items are provided for all hands-on exercises, as are a range of hand instruments and small equipment (eg curing lights, x-ray developer and viewers). |

CTC Clinical suitePatient treatment facilities in the CTC incorporate four surgeries, including the Master Surgery which features a Sirona C5+ chair and digital intraoral x-ray system. A Planmeca digital OPG is located in an adjoining surgery, assisting with the delivery of many of the events run at the CTC. The Master Surgery is equipped with a multiple camera system that ensures your participants have a ‘surgeon’s eye view’ of clinical procedures. Hire of the Master Surgery for a patient-based demonstration includes: producer and camera operator; clinical coordinator and interactive audio and video feed to both the Training room or Lecture room. Your procedure will be recorded and should you choose Best Practice Productions to operate can provide post-production services to create a range of video materials. |

Lecture roomIn addition to our training centre on level one, we also offer a room which can accommodate a group of 30 people for lecture-style presentations. In-built AV facilities include projection screen, data projector and sound system. In addition, those seated in this room may view and hear procedures performed live in the CTC Master Surgery. A two-way communication system allows audience questions to be relayed to and answered by the presenting surgeon. Adjoining is a smaller meeting room – ideal for serving refreshments or buffet-style meals – and kitchen facilities. |

Clinical programsOur Industry Liaison Manager, Stephanie Green, will coordinate your clinical needs and provide on-site assistance during procedures. All dentists performing procedures on patients at the CTC must be registered to practice dentistry in NSW and provide evidence of being appropriately insured. For information on registration to practice dentistry in NSW, please contact the Registrar of the Dental Board of NSW on 02 9281 0835. Reception and cateringCatering can be arranged by CPD to match your menu and budget. Sample menus and costs are available and Andrea Prieto, Course and Administration Assistant, will coordinate reception and refreshments for your guests on the day of the program.
